The Life Church of Memphis

Our goal at The Life Church has always been to impact as many people as we possibly can with the message of God's love. God has done some incredible things over the last eleven years and we're excited about what's ahead. Our vision for our city, our nation and our world is expansive and will take great faith and significant resources to accomplish.

We've seen incredible momentum and excitement around Kingdom Builders and our yearly Miracle Offering over the past two years. To build on that solid foundation, we are launching a new initiative called Kingdom Life, which will encompass Kingdom Builders, the Miracle Offering, as well as a new community of givers called Kingdom Partners.

We know that the best is yet to come and are excited to have you be a part of all that God is doing!

We are in an incredible season in the life of our church and have been experiencing awesome growth for the past few years. As we see in Isaiah 54:2, we must be constantly preparing and making room for all that God wants to do in and through our church. We are excited about the opportunities on the horizon: expanding our current facilities in Cordova, purchasing land, launching more campuses and opening an outreach center - all for the purpose of reaching as many people as we can with the message of God's love.

God has called the church to be a creative, significant force in the world that provides solutions to the physical, spiritual and emotional needs of people. Some of our key areas of strategic emphasis include developing our local and global outreach programs, expanding Damascus Road and other leadership development opportunities, and reaching and discipling the next generation. As we focus on these key areas of our ministry, we can exponentially increase our ability to reach more people for Jesus.

Kingdom Life brings together people who share a passion for building God's House through financial giving, providing them a chance to connect with like-minded individuals, receive leadership training, and build new friendships, all while serving their local church. Through our Kingdom Life updates, yearly Miracle Offering, Kingdom Builders, and Kingdom Partners we will all have an opportunity to invest in resourcing the vision of The Life Church of Memphis.

Our Miracle Offering is received each year in early November and funds raised go toward the Kingdom Life initiatives. Past Miracle Offerings have been used to build a home for orphans in Uganda, upgrade multimedia equipment, launch the Go Global missions organization, and fund fresh, creative approaches to reaching the next generation.

Kingdom Builders are individuals who tithe regularly, contribute to the Miracle Offering, and attend Kingdom Builders dinners. These dinners provide a chance to connect with other Kingdom Builders, receive vision updates, and hear Biblical teaching on financial stewardship. There are four Kingdom Builders dinners each year. Kingdom Partners is a community of people who feel called to resource the Kingdom through significant financial giving. They commit to tithe regularly, contribute at least $2000 to the Miracle Offering, and attend monthly Kingdom Partner receptions. These events provide an opportunity to connect with other Kingdom Partners and to receive monthly leadership resources, in-depth vision updates, and teaching from Pastor John and guest speakers.
