The ministry school of The Life Church
Damascus Road is now accepting applications for the 2009-2010 school year! Damascus Road is a 9-month ministry internship of The Life Church of Memphis designed to equip and develop emerging leaders to fulfill their calling through the local church. Damascus Road provides several environments for students to grow and develop as Christian leaders: 1. Weekly ministry training classes Damascus Road classes provide a setting for interns to learn practical tools for ministry, gain a Biblical leadership perspective and receive from pastors and other ministry leaders. 2. Serving weekly on a ministry team One of the best ways to learn is hands-on experience! Interns have an opportunity to gain experience through serving on teams for weekend services and during the week experiencing the day-to-day ministry of a local church. 3. Trips and retreats Damascus Road interns will participate in various team-building exercises, retreats and mission trips to complete their ministry internship experience.
